The name “harness” actually comes from the French word ”harneis” which is a military equipment that was used to carry swords. This gives us more insight into the original background of the body harness. Originally used to hold a weapon these beautiful belts were heavily used in the revolution of the sexually oppressed nations in the 70s. This is how the harness had gained the reputation of a leather kink. Since then a lot of brands have contributed to the upbringing of the harness as a fashion statement and it became an aesthetic in and of itself.
For us, anything that can be turned into a fashion item can be an accessory. The evolution of accessories and fashion items has taken a step forward with certain individuals that see the freedom of expression through the creative usage of that object. We believe in that. Our brand focuses on any designer accessory that can be a part of our creative self-expression.
This item can be a harness today, it can also be a home decor object tomorrow.
Our main goal as a brand is to liberate ourselves from the framework drawn by social taboos, the only thing that separates a harness from a bracelet or a belt.

About Vuslat Arca
Vuslat Arca was Born in Istanbul, on 24 May in 1998, in a family where her aesthetic perception was destined to shape around photography and cinematography which slowly evolved to step into the daring world of fashion.
Her father being a photographer and the passion for cinema in her household has led to the development of her cinematic and photographic perception and the growing interest to discover the source of this cinematic magic in herself and the enchantment that lies in the power of personal expression and therefore the unique and complex layers of sexual expression in each person and to find out where this expression is rooted in.
From an early age, she started to play around with different visuals and started to create Collage art and Short films.
She started to discover the magnetism and the power of cinematographic expression through her own sexuality which bloomed into what it is today.
To her, sexuality is the most prominent way we can discover our own free expression and the complexity of our inner worlds. Our different personas can only be expressed in a multidisciplinary way. Therefore we should always discover the societal norms and confines that we are forced to fit into and draw the lines not according to what is conformed by society but by our own will.
Everyone has different boundaries where they feel free and no matter how much the social sphere wants to place this pattern on us, we have the freedom to break out of this pattern.
To Vuslat Arca, defining these boundaries is only possible in a way that is multi-layered.
Our own sexuality and free expression are actually the same things, and although any artistic expression of any person is not obviously sexually related, our deepest instincts always touch here and the self-perception we create about ourselves inevitably discovers this limit.
